Local group More Than Words has revealed that their dance project, called ‘𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣’ has got through to the final stages of The People's Projects!

More Than Words is of 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 in the Granada TV region to have got through to win a share of £250,000 of funding! And they are the 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 to get this far!

In each region, the three projects with the most public votes will receive grants of up to £70,000, with the runners-up each getting £10,000.

‘𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣’ is a student-led project, which will bring inclusive dance workshops to the local community. It will bring people of all ages and abilities together to enjoy dance and movement, make new friends and lead a more healthy and active lifestyle.

𝙒𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥, 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙤𝙩𝙚!

𝙏𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙬𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩. Voting opens at 9am on Monday 15 May and closes at noon on Friday 26 May 2023.
