🚓 We secured funding for the alley gate due to the exceptional circumstances of anti-social behaviour, littering and fly-tipping, that had been blighting residents in the area. The location also fit the criteria for a gate to be installed.
🙌 We would like to say a huge thank you to Julie Clarke, Wigan Council Community Capacity Officer, for all the hard work she put into this project over many months.
👏 In addition, we would like to applaud the efforts and determination of local residents, led by Tom, which were instrumental in delivering this project.
✅ The area has already seen a reduction in anti-social behaviour, and we are pleased to have helped bring this about working with our constituents.
