Christmas Day Dinner at St James' Church

Today, we were blessed to attend the Christmas Dinner held at St James' Church, Poolstock, bringing together around 50 people from the local community, young and old.

A HUGE thank you to Alison Brown for organising this dinner, and to the army of volunteers from the Faith Café for helping out! You have made it a magical day for so many people.

All the food was delicious, there was great company and we had a good time celebrating the festivities. We are so pleased to have been able to make this Christmas Dinner possible with Brighter Borough Funding.

Whilst we were there, we also presented funding for the Lifelines Dementia Friendly Choir, also based at St James’, to enable to the group to carry on its fantastic work.

Once again, thank you to all those involved, and we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! We’re signing off for now, but we’ll be back in action after the New Year!
