Christmas Day Dinner at St James' Church

🎄 Today, we were blessed to attend the Christmas Dinner held at St James' Church, Poolstock, bringing together around 50 people from the local community, young and old.
👏 A HUGE thank you to Alison Brown for organising this dinner, and to the army of volunteers from the Faith Café for helping out! You have made it a magical day for so many people.
❤️ All the food was delicious, there was great company and we had a good time celebrating the festivities. We are so pleased to have been able to make this Christmas Dinner possible with Brighter Borough Funding.
💷 Whilst we were there, we also presented funding for the Lifelines Dementia Friendly Choir, also based at St James’, to enable to the group to carry on its fantastic work.
🙌 Once again, thank you to all those involved, and we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! We’re signing off for now, but we’ll be back in action after the New Year!
