Funding Christmas Food Hampers for Residents in Need

It was an absolute pleasure to help out at St Francis’ Church this morning, packing Christmas food hampers for local residents in need in the Douglas and Pemberton wards.

A massive thank you to the brilliant Barry Prior, a local unsung hero who organises this mammoth task every year! Thanks also to Carol, Elaine, Peter and Derek for helping out this morning.

After packing the hampers, we personally delivered some to our constituents, who were over the moon! Our fantastic local Community Capacity Officer, Julie Clarke, has also helped with deliveries, which we would like to thank her for!

We have always supported these hampers, and will continue to do so through our Brighter Borough Funding, to make sure everyone has the best Christmas possible!
