Visiting Highfield Gardens Crown Green Bowling Club

This afternoon, we had a wonderful time meeting up with Highfield Gardens Crown Green Bowling Club, based off Enfield Street.

Joined by our fantastic Community Capacity Officer, Julie Clarke, we discussed funding avenues for the club in the year ahead.

We also discussed ways in which the Council can help with maintenance issues and upkeep of the grounds, which we will be following up.

A huge thank you to Ernie and the dedicated team of volunteers for inviting us down to have a look round. Grassroots clubs like these are something we are always keen to support!
