Supporting Kids at Wigan & Leigh Wrestling Club to Travel to Estonia!

We had a great catch-up with Wigan and Leigh Wrestling Club tonight, as we presented them with a cheque for £1,500 from our Brighter Borough Funding, provided by Wigan Council.

Tomorrow, 10 kids from the club are travelling to Estonia, to compete in the Tallinn Open Youth Wrestling Tournament, supported in part by the Brighter Borough Funding.

The Tallinn Open is possibly the world’s largest open wrestling tournament, and it’s expected that over 2,700 children from 30 countries will be taking part. Saturday is competition day, followed by an International Training Camp from Monday - Wednesday.
