New Markings on Southgate, Improving Road Safety

Great to see the new road markings completed on Southgate last week, including at the traffic lights and the junction with Pottery Road.

Prior to the new markings, local residents and businesses had mentioned that vehicles were mistakenly going onto Pottery Road at the wrong turning as it had two lanes.

This has now been replaced with one lane only, and new “No Entry” markings have been put down. New “Slow” markings have also been painted ahead of the traffic lights.

These measures should help to improve road safety, so thank you to Network Management for taking action!
