The Green Flag Continues to Fly High Over Alexandra Park!

Fantastic to see the Green Flag flying high over Alexandra Park, as it wins the prestigious award again for 2024-25!

Huge congratulations to our Council staff and dedicated volunteers from the Friends of Alexandra Park, especially John Broomhead, Joe Edgar and Kevin Johnson, who all do an amazing job! Thanks also to Greenspaces Officer, Jeff O’Brien, for organising today’s ceremony.

The park is looking beautiful and we will continue to work with our volunteers and the Parks and Streetscene Team to implement improvements, including planned resurfacing works later this year.
