Working Together with Council Officers, Police and Residents to Improve Alexandra Park

Very productive day as we near the end of Douglas Ward’s “Our Town” Week!

This morning, we attended our regular surgery at Mount Zion and were joined by local police to offer advice and assistance to constituents. Thank you to Sergeant Aspinall and PC Lomas for taking the time to help out!

Later in the day, we met up with constituents at Alexandra Park to discuss upcoming maintenance on the pavements, other park improvements, and the ongoing efforts to tackle off-road vehicles and anti-social behaviour.

Today’s meetings highlight how Councillors, Council Officers, police and residents can work together for the benefit of our local area, which we will continue to do all year round. As ever, a huge thank you to all involved!

Don’t forget: there is one more Waste Amesty Day taking place at Trencherfield Mill tomorrow, from 9am - 2pm. Please come along if you have any excess household waste you need to dispose of.
