Worsley Hall Welcomes "Our Town" Waste Amnesty Week

Another great Waste Amnesty Day at Worsley Hall Shops today!

A huge thank you to everyone who dropped off waste, preventing fly-tipping in our area. Thanks also to Streetscene for their work in clearing the children’s play area at The Meadows Family Hub.

Later in the day, we completed a litter-pick near Wigan Pier, collecting 6 bags from Herbert Street and all around the Haig Street car park. With most of the litter removed, we have asked Streetscene to cut back all the overgrown vegetation in this area.

Don’t forget - there is one more skip day taking place at Trencherfield Mill on Friday, from 9am - 2pm.
