Poolstock Church Throws Open Its Doors to Feed People on Christmas Day

Today, we were blessed to attend the Christmas Day Lunch held at St James with St Thomas Church - Poolstock, bringing together over 60 people from the local community, young and old, an increase from last year’s event.

A huge thank you to Rev Alison Brown and to the army of volunteers from the Faith Café for organising this dinner! You have made it a magical day for so many people.

All the food was delicious, there was great company and we had a good time celebrating the festivities. We are so pleased to have been able to make this Christmas Day Lunch possible with funding from our Brighter Borough pots.
